Edward Mann are recruiting for a fast-growing international business based in Lane Cove. They are looking for a Permanent Management Accountant which will pay circa 100k + Super

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of accurate monthly P&L results for the individual shows
  • Posting required accruals for outstanding charges to ensure accurate reporting of show results
  • Reviewing and verifying the manpower and overhead cost for the relevant portfolios
  • Producing group bad debt reconciliation on a monthly basis between amounts posted and those proposed
  • Ensuring tight deadlines are met whilst maintaining the highest levels of accuracy
  • Provide written commentary on material balance sheet movements
  • Provide monthly summaries of show balance sheet movements

Budgets and Forecasts

  • Liaising with show teams to challenge and collate the portfolio’s proposed annual budget
  • Ensure budget figures have been provided by the event teams per the agreed timetable and entered correctly into reporting system
  • Liaising with show teams in production of event forecasts in line with set timetable. Ensuring these forecasts are entered correctly into reporting system and are consistent with management forecasts – highlighting and understanding variances
  • Updating and checking of monthly management forecast for the portfolio
  • To assist with preparation of the monthly group forecast for review
  • To assist with preparation of the portfolio quarterly reviews

Year End

  • Provide auditors with information and explanations as required
  • Assist the FA team with year-end auditor requests

Financial management & controls

  • Ensure the Company processes and procedures are adhered to
  • Maintain a working document of management accounts month end process and controls for areas of responsibility
  • Identify opportunities for improving and enhancing results
