This position will lead the group financial reporting processes and will be responsible for the periodic consolidation, elimination and reporting of the group financial statements
Oversee general ledger reconciliations and maintenance.
Provide technical input in relation to the interpretation and implementation of accounting policies applicable to the business.
Heavily involved in identifying and driving improvements to processes, financial systems and internal controls.
Business Partner with non-finance stakeholders
Experience and Desirables:
You will be Qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent. Although those not studying or with relevant experience will still be considered)
Ideally a professional services background.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and be up to date in recent changes to accounting standards (e.g. AASB 9, 15 and 16).
Experience with consolidation and elimination processes of group financial statements.
You will be a strategic business partner having excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
The ability to translate technical accounting to non-technical stakeholders.
